Growing up in Fort Worth during the 90s, J'Moris was surrounded by the harsh realities of his environment—drugs, pimps, and the struggles of street life. When his family relocated to Hillsboro in search of a better future, they found themselves engulfed in the same challenges. Witnessing loved ones fall victim to addiction and the streets, J'Moris realized he had to navigate this turbulent landscape with strategy and resilience.

"My family tried to escape, but the struggles followed us. I knew I had to turn these experiences into an advantage," he reflects. His older brother, Crunch, played a pivotal role in his life, guiding him away from the streets while recognizing the inevitable pull of their environment. "He taught me how to finesse the game—how to be part of it without getting lost in its chaos. Those lessons shaped me into who I am and helped me achieve what others in my family couldn't, like graduating high school."
